Church Life Greenhouse 2020Although many things today are unknown and unstable, we thank the Lord, for He is steadfast and sure! The
methods may change, but the genuine love and care for the young people among us remains the same. Due to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19, there will not be the usual summer events such as Mountain Top, Base Camp, or Junior High Family Camp. Instead, a group of brothers have been working to take this opportunity to serve and engage the young people in a different way. Our dream: By the end of the summer, to cultivate a culture among the young people where they know experientially that their talents, ideas, vitality, and leadership can be developed and be a blessing to the church. We hope to be surprised by how much they have done, rather than by how much we have done. To accomplish this, we have developed a summer program called The Church Life Greenhouse, which will begin on June 15th and conclude on July 31st. The Church Life Greenhouse has 3 major elements: 1) Small groups - for companionship and support 2) Enrichment sessions - for enjoyment and growth 3) Challenges - for development and community |
The church life greenhouse will be held online, and will take up as much time as each young person would like to be involved each day. More details about the program will be coming soon!
If you have any questions, please contact Samuel Kuo @ skuo.156@gmail.com To register, fill out this form by Monday, June 8th |

Q: How much of a time commitment is this?
A: The groups will have two daily check-ins, generally from 9:00-9:30 am and from 5:00-5:30 pm (these times can be changed by individual groups). In addition, the young people will have the option to join as many enrichment sessions as they would like.

A: Yes! Please indicate your availability in the registration form.
Q: If I am a parent, what times should I try to keep free for the young people activities?
A: The primary times to keep free would be the 9:00am and the 5:00pm check in times, and 2 pm (EST) for many of the enrichment sessions.
Q: My child is 7, but wants to join with their older sibling, is that allowed?
A: They can feel free to join with their older sibling, although the content will not have a 7 year old in mind.
Q: Does my child need to prepare anything?
A: It would be best if they had their own physical Bible. It may also be useful to have pencil and paper at hand, in case the group decides to use it for anything.
