Ignite 2004

Ignite 2004, held at the new hall in Chicago, was a special time for young people from junior high through college age. Tears flowed on two nights with prayers of consecration and prayers for friends and family members. Two hours felt like just a moment. We sang in the New Year with an energy and exercise of spirit that many of us had not previously experienced. Some wished the time would never end, but as one brother said, “It’s not over; it’s just begun.” We were not there just for a good time, but for the igniting and re-igniting of a fire in us that will be kept until we meet the Lord.
